I found out about WFDC when Carmela (Director of Student Services) came to visit my school. She told us about the program, what students could do there. I decided to apply so I could learn something that was interesting. I wanted to learn something hands on, something real and new. I feel that the three most important things I have learned since coming to WFDC are understanding of instructions, applying something you know to real objects and working with several people to make something. After I graduate high school, I plan on joining the military. I want to go into the Army.
