Mechanical Assembly

For more than 25 years, WFDC has developed strong relationships with the Northwest's leading Aerospace, Automotive and Commercial industries.

Electrical Assembly

WFDC has a complete Wire marking, harness and kitting shop to fulfill all of your needs. WFDC has the latest technologies in the wire marking field which include a Spectrum 50-300ES, Nova 840 and Spectrum CMS2 contrast meter that meet BAC 5152, Airbus AIPS requirements and numerous others.

CNC Machining

In September 2013, Work Force Development Center opened a second location in Mukilteo which housed two Haas 4 axis CNC machines.

Work Force Development Center

Founded in 1991, Work Force Development Center, a social enterprise nonprofit 501 (c)(3), is a vocational training organization specializing in preparing at-risk and disadvantaged high school juniors and seniors, for their respective journeys into the future work force.

Work Force Development Center currently works in conjunction with 36 Snohomish, North King, and Island County high schools in providing a safe and structured aerospace work environment that allows students the opportunity to develop skills within the assembly/manufacturing/machining fields that they may not have had otherwise.

Work Force Development Center works in successful and continual partnership, providing significant outsourcing needs with several major companies in the aviation, wire harness, CNC machining and automotive fields. We are in constant search for more companies to add to our current customer base.

Being that we are self supporting, Work Force Development Center’s student count is directly related to the amount of work we have in-house at any given time. In short, the more work we have, the more students we are able to serve.
