WFDC has had a quality system in place since its inception in 1993. The original system was loosely based on MIL-I-45208 and in 1998 the company passed their audit for registration to ISO 9001-1994 for both manufacturing and education. In 2000 they raised their registration level to encompass the requirements of AS9100A. In 2004 the registration level was raised to the requirements of ISO 9001/2000 and AS9100B. In that the quality policy and mission statement are considered dynamic in nature, both were revised early in 2006 to stay more in line with the direction the company is growing. By June 2007 the third party audit will encompass the requirements of AS9102, First Article Inspection, into applicable procedures and work instructions.
