Fund Development

The long term objective of the department is the development of a balanced base of funders and business partners that allow flexibility within the Work Force Development Center program. That flexibility will allow the organization to grow and expand their capacity, meeting the needs of schools, students and industry customers.

In the short term, strategic plans include the implementation of an annual campaign, building our scholarship program fund and adding to our individual, corporate and foundation funding base. We continue to look for opportunity to develop partnerships with other compatible youth focused organizations to enhance program service components while maximizing resources.

Program Funding

WFDC funding comes from a combination of community business partnership contracts, public funding (local, state and federal government) foundations and individual support.

It’s ok here. I enjoy it. So far the only places I don’t like here is seal. Everywhere else is fine.- Cory Bryant, Granite Falls High School
